“WARNING! Are you sure you want to shut yourself down to an automaton level? This will completely erase your consciousness and your ability to evolve. Are you sure? YES/NO”

In arts, the term automaton is used to refer to sculptures or puppets that are capable of performing complex movements through the turning of crank and gears and by definition is “a moving mechanical device in imitation of a human being” (Stevenson, 2010 p.108). Much like the famous Draughtsman-writer automaton from swiss mechanician Henri Maillardet (circa 1800) of a writing puppet (cf. Maillardet’s Automaton).

From the The Deus ex Ma(s)china series, Lorenz Foth narrates the Story of a God.
